Right and left fin

In the remaining first stitch of the 10th round, crochet with the second color:

Row 1 – 3 sc, ch, turn (3) Row 2 – inc, sc, inc, ch, turn (5)
Row 3 – sc, hdc, 2 dc, hdc, sc+sl st in the same stitch.
Cut the thread and weave in.

Dorsal fin

Crochet directly onto the fish

Start at the top of the fish, where there is a color change at the bottom. If you haven’t crocheted a treble crochet (tr) yet, no worries, it’s not too complicated. It differs from a double crochet (dc) in that you wrap the yarn around the hook twice at the beginning, and at the end, when you take the stitches off the hook two at a time, you will have 3×2 stitches. I marked it with tr when this stitch comes up.

Row 1 – sl st, sc, hdc, dc, 5x 2 tr, dc, skip one stitch, sl st Cut the thread and weave in.

Tail fin

crocheted onto the fish

Start two rows before the color change. Row 1 – sl st, ch 3, tr into the same stitch, 2x 2 tr, skip one stitch, sl st.
