  2. Round – inc x6 (12)
  3. Round – (1 sc, inc) x6 (18)
  4. Round – (inc, 2 sc) x6 (24)

    7-13. Round – 36 sc
    Place the eyes between rows 7-8, 12 stitches apart.
  7. Round – (4 sc, dec) x6 (30)

    17-19. Round – 18 sc
    Stuff with filling. Sew the end of the head, the last 3 rows should remain flat, it will be inserted into the shell.

14. Round – (7 sc, dec) x6 (48) Embroider the watermelon seeds. You can use a French knot or simply black stitches on the red surface.

Insert the turtle’s limbs and sew them on. Make sure to insert the legs evenly, so there’s no difference, for example, between the remaining size of the two front legs.

Add more stuffing, then close the hole.
